Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in government program delivery, stakeholder engagement, operational coordination, and learning & development within public sector environments.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end program activities, support strategic initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery outcomes across complex government programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across government agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Develop program documentation, governance reports, and communications.
  • Support onboarding, training, and workforce capability initiatives.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with government frameworks and operational policies.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and training sessions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across programs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven Program Management experience within Australian Government or public sector environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience managing learning & development, onboarding, or workforce programs.
  • Strong reporting, governance, and coordination capability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within Government environments.
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience managing procurement, vendors, or training providers.
  • Workshop facilitation and operational support experience.

Candidate Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship required.
  • Active NV1 / NV2 / TSPV Security Clearance mandatory.
  • Canberra-based candidates preferred.
