Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team in Canberra, ACT. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our applications, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our applications

- Monitor and maintain the performance of our applications

- Identify and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams

- Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve issues and improve application functionality

- Document support processes and procedures for future reference

- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve support services

- Participate in after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management

- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Active baseline security clearance.
